Nature Inspired Wellness

One of the questions I get asked the most is "how do you stay in great shape, what do you do to look, move, function so well".  The truth is....I struggle just like everyone else. However.....I'm a very curious person and lately my favorite topic has been my physical well being.  A few years ago as I was approaching 50, I started digging into what my body needed to continue to be able to function in a way that served me best. Needless to say....this lead me down a rabbit hole of learning the intricacies of what our amazing bodies are capable of when we give them what they need.  Here's what I've learned:

  1. Nutrition and Healthy Eating:

    • Importance of a balanced diet for women's health

    • Supplements to add to a balanced diet

    • Addressing common nutritional concerns specific to women (e.g., iron, magnesium, vitamin D)

  2. Exercise and Fitness:

    • Benefits of regular physical activity for women's health

    • Different types of exercises suitable for various fitness levels and interests

    • The impact of exercise on mood, weight management, and overall well-being

  3. Managing Stress and Mental Health:

    • The impact of stress on women's health

    • The importance of stress management techniques, such as mindfulness, meditation, and relaxation exercises

    • Importance of self-care and setting boundaries

    • Strategies for maintaining positive mental health

  4. Hormonal Health:​​

    • Menopause and perimenopause: symptoms, coping strategies, and treatment options

    • HRT or MHT (Hormone Replacement Therapy _or Menopause Hormone Therapy)

    • Long term health risks specific to women

  5. The importance and impact of clean, non-toxic living:​​​

    • Using household products derived from nature to help clean effectively while protecting your health​​

    • How quality supplements composed of ingredients that are reliably resourced with high absorbability impact your overall health

    • How using high quality products, where less is more, impacted not only my health but also my budget in a positive way.​
